The Girls’ Education Unit, on 26th June, 2024, commenced a sensitization programme for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) candidates on life after BECE.
The sensitization sessions were aimed at guiding candidates on productive and responsible ways to utilize their time while awaiting examination results. Candidates were advised to support their parents at home and in their various occupations, engage in apprenticeship and vocational skills training, and avoid negative social behaviours that could hinder their personal development.
The programme provided practical guidance to help candidates transition positively from basic education to the next stage of their academic or vocational pursuits.
