Amansie Rural Bank PLC on Monday, 1st December, 2025 donated twenty (20) knapsack sprayers, twenty (20) pairs of wellington boots, and twenty (20) cutlasses to the Bekwai Municipal Assembly to support activities marking the upcoming Farmers Day celebration.
The donation ceremony took place at the forecourt of the Bekwai Municipal Assembly and was led by the Branch Manager of Amansie Rural Bank PLC, Mr. Emmanuel Arhin Graham. The items were officially received by the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Bekwai Municipal Assembly, with support from the Municipal Coordinating Director and the Deputy Director of Agriculture.
Presenting the items, Mr. Emmanuel Arhin Graham stated that the gesture formed part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility to support agriculture and improve the working conditions of farmers within the municipality. He reaffirmed the bank’s commitment to partnering with the Assembly in initiatives that promote agricultural development.
Receiving the donation, the Municipal Chief Executive expressed appreciation to Amansie Rural Bank PLC for the timely support, noting that the items would significantly contribute to the success of the Farmers Day celebration. He assured the bank and stakeholders that the items would be put to good use to benefit deserving farmers.
The donation underscores the strong collaboration between the Bekwai Municipal Assembly and its partners in promoting agriculture and rural development within the municipality.
