The Bekwai Municipal Education Directorate, through the Girls’ Education and Guidance and Counselling Units, on Monday, 18th May 2026, organized an engagement talk on career aspirations and lifestyle for learners of Adjamesu M/A Junior High School.
The programme was organized as part of efforts by the Directorate to strengthen counselling services in schools and address growing concerns of indiscipline among learners at the pre-tertiary level.
During the engagement, learners were guided on the importance of setting clear career goals, making positive life choices, and developing attitudes and behaviours that support academic success and personal growth.
The facilitators encouraged students to remain focused on their education, cultivate discipline, and make responsible decisions that will positively influence their future careers and lifestyles.
The session also highlighted the role of good values, self-confidence, hard work, and positive peer relationships in helping learners achieve their aspirations.
