The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Bekwai Municipal Assembly, Hon. Salifu Issaka, together with the Municipal Director of Education, Mrs. Leticia Obeng, on Wednesday, 28th January 2026, paid a working visit to Ofoase Kokoben Senior High School to assess the general activities of the school and engage staff on issues relating to teaching and learning.
The visit provided an opportunity for the MCE and the Education Director to interact with the management and teaching staff of the school, review the progress of academic activities, and discuss measures to enhance quality education delivery.
In their separate addresses, Hon. Salifu Issaka and Mrs. Leticia Obeng commended the teachers for their dedication, commitment, and resilience in the discharge of their duties despite the challenges confronting them.
They encouraged the teaching staff to remain steadfast in their efforts towards improving academic performance and creating a conducive learning environment for students.
The engagement also focused on the importance of professional conduct, effective management of challenging situations, and adherence to established administrative procedures and the chain of command within the education system.
The team emphasized that strong collaboration between school management, teachers, students, and education authorities remains essential in achieving improved learning outcomes.
