The final day of the Easter celebrations saw the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Bekwai Municipal Assembly, Hon. Salifu Issaka, join chiefs and residents of Sefwi Asumenya in the Bekwai Municipality for a grand durbar as part of their Easter harvest festivities.

The event brought together traditional leaders, community members, and stakeholders to celebrate the season while reflecting on development priorities within the community.

Addressing the durbar, Hon. Salifu Issaka commended the chiefs and people of Sefwi Asumenya for their hospitality and commitment to unity and development. He reaffirmed government’s commitment, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, to supporting programmes aimed at improving community development and enhancing living standards.

He encouraged residents to continue to foster peace and collaboration as a foundation for sustainable development in the area.

The celebration ended on a positive note with calls for continuous partnership between traditional authorities, government, and community members to drive progress across the municipality.
