The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Bekwai Municipal Assembly, Hon. Salifu Issaka, has joined several communities within the municipality in observing Easter harvest celebrations aimed at promoting unity and supporting community development initiatives.
The activities formed part of traditional Easter observances where communities come together to mobilize support for local development projects and strengthen social cohesion.
Speaking during the engagements, Hon. Salifu Issaka expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to interact with residents and participate in the celebrations. He noted that such communal activities play a key role in fostering development, encouraging collective responsibility, and strengthening partnerships between traditional authorities and government.
He further emphasized the importance of sustaining community-driven development efforts to complement government interventions in improving livelihoods across the municipality.
The MCE reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote development, unity, and progress within all communities in the Bekwai Municipality.
