The Bekwai Municipal Education Directorate on Thursday, August 24, 2023 took delivery of three hundred (300) Dual Desks from the Bekwai Municipal Assembly.

The 2023 Festival of Art and Culture was celebrated on the theme “The Relevance of Cultural education to the Ghanaian Economy” on Circuits and Zonal levels in the Municipality on 15th and 29th August, 2023

The 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) started from the 7th to 11th of August, 2023 at twelve (12) examination centers in the Municipality.

The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) started from the 31st July to 26th September, 2023 in ten examination centers in the Municipality.

Ghana’s 66th Independence Day Anniversary was Celebration in Bekwai town and ten (10) other circuit centers in the Municipality.

There was a heavy rainstorm on 4th February, 2023 that affected some schools in the Municipality.
