The 2023 Festival of Art and Culture was celebrated on the theme “The Relevance of Cultural education to the Ghanaian Economy” on Circuits and Zonal levels in the Municipality on 15th and 29th August, 2023

In a concerted effort to address the pressing issue of child neglect and abandonment within the Bekwai Municipality, the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development (SWCD) organized an educational session on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, at Kokotro.

On Friday, August 11, 2023, the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development organized a comprehensive education program in Affulkrom, Bekwai Municipality, aimed at addressing the pressing issue of early marriage.

The 2023 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) started from the 7th to 11th of August, 2023 at twelve (12) examination centers in the Municipality.

The West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) started from the 31st July to 26th September, 2023 in ten examination centers in the Municipality.

The convener of the Social Services Sub-Committee of the Bekwai Municipal Assembly (BMA), Hon. Dickson Osei Boateng on Thursday, 27th July, 2023 convened members of the Sub-Committee at the Municipal Assembly's Conference Room.
