The Bekwai Municipal Assembly hosted the Amansie South, Amansie West, Amansie Central and Akrofuom District Assemblies for a budget hearing on Tuesday, 20th October 2026, at the Bekwai Municipal Assembly Hall.
The meeting brought together District Chief Executives (DCEs), District Coordinating Directors, Heads of Departments and traditional leaders to participate in discussions relating to the budget preparation process.
The budget hearing provided a platform for the participating Assemblies to deliberate on their budget proposals, review development priorities and consider resource allocation in line with their respective development needs.
The participation of key officials and stakeholders underscored the importance of collaboration, accountability and effective financial planning in local governance.
The engagement also provided an opportunity for the Assemblies to strengthen coordination in the budgeting process and promote the effective use of public resources to support development within their respective districts.
