In a bid to promote cleanliness and environmental hygiene, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Bekwai, Hon. Issaka Salifu, led the Bekwai Municipal Assembly in the National Sanitation Day exercise held on Saturday, 7th March 2026.
The exercise took place within the Central Business District of Bekwai and saw active participation from members of the Church of Pentecost in Bekwai. The event was carried out peacefully and was deemed highly successful.
Hon. Issaka Salifu expressed his appreciation to all individuals and groups who contributed to the success of the exercise, commending their commitment to maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
