In a proactive move to address the pervasive issue of child abuse, the Bekwai Municipal Assembly's Department of Social Welfare and Community Development (SWCD) organized an educational seminar on Wednesday, September 27th, 2023. Held in Aniantentem, a community within the municipality, the event aimed to enlighten residents about the causes, effects, prevention, and intervention strategies related to child abuse.
The seminar was facilitated by a team of dedicated SWCD officers, namely Vivian Appiah Kwabi, Evans Owusu Addai, Emmanuel Agyare, Ebenezer Atta Mensah, and Ruth Adutwumwaa.
