MCE INSPECTS RENOVATED QUEEN ELIZABETH PRESCHOOL, COMMENDS IMPROVEMENTS IN EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Bekwai Municipal Assembly, Hon. Salifu Issaka, has conducted an inspection visit to Queen Elizabeth Preschool following renovation works undertaken through the allocation of the Member of Parliament for Bekwai Constituency under the District Assemblies Common Fund.

The visit formed part of the MCE’s monitoring and supervisory duties to assess infrastructure improvements in schools and ensure that teaching and learning environments are conducive for effective early childhood education.

During the inspection, Hon. Salifu Issaka interacted with teachers and management of the school and encouraged them to remain committed to excellence in their duties, noting that quality early childhood education plays a critical role in shaping the future leadership of the country.

He emphasized the importance of dedication among educators in nurturing learners at the foundational level, describing preschool education as a key stage in national development.

The MCE also reaffirmed government’s commitment, under the leadership of President John Dramani Mahama, to strengthening the education sector through improved infrastructure, teaching resources, and access to quality education for all learners across the country.
