BEKWAI MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY UNVEILS DISTRICT ROAD IMPROVEMENT MACHINES

Bekwai, 6th September 2024 – The Bekwai Municipal Assembly, on Friday, 6th September, 2024 officially unveiled its share of equipment under the District Road Improvement Program (DRIP) at a ceremony held at the Assembly's forecourt. This initiative aims to enhance the road infrastructure within the municipality, marking a significant step towards local development.

The event was attended by key dignitaries, including the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Kwaku Kyei Baffour, who addressed the gathering with optimism about the positive impact of the new road improvement machines on the municipality's road network.

Also in attendance was the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bekwai Constituency, Hon. Joseph Osei Owusu. In a significant political move, Hon. Owusu took the opportunity to introduce his preferred parliamentary candidate to succeed him, signaling a new phase in the constituency's political leadership.
