On 14th February 2024, NADMO staff from Bekwai received specialized training in the management of fire disasters. The training was conducted by experienced personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service, Bekwai Branch. Key participants included Mr. Francis Siaw, Director of Bekwai NADMO, and Mr. Osei Bonsu, Director of Operations of NADMO, along with several other staff members.
The session, held at the Bekwai Municipal Assembly premises, focused on enhancing the preparedness and response capabilities of NADMO personnel in handling fire emergencies. Practical exercises and theoretical insights were employed to equip attendees with essential skills and knowledge necessary for effective disaster management.
This initiative underscores the commitment of NADMO and the Ghana National Fire Service to collaborate closely in safeguarding communities against fire hazards, ensuring swift and coordinated responses during crises.
