The Bekwai Municipal Assembly (BMA) on Thursday, 1st December, 2022 received items donated by Amansie Rural Bank at the forecourt of the Municipal Assembly Administration Block. The items were Wellington boots, Knapsack Spraying Machine and Cutlasses.
This donation according to the representative from the Bank is part of their corporate social responsibility to support the local economy in diverse areas such as education, health, agriculture, employment etc. He added that they leveraged on the upcoming farmers day celebration to donate farming related items for onward distribution to interested farmers on the said day.
The items were received by the Municipal Chief Executive, the Municipal Coordinating Director and the Municipal Finance Officer on behalf of the Assembly.
