The surge of girls dropping out of school to marry at a younger age has become a worrying issue for the growth of communities and the country at large.
Therefore, as part of the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development (SWCD) programs to educate and sensitize communities on prevailing issues to help curb its impact on society, officers embarked on an educational program on Monday, 5th June, 2023 to brief community members at Amoamo on the need to desist from sending their children into early marriages.
