The 2023 Festival of Art and Culture was celebrated on the theme “The Relevance of Cultural education to the Ghanaian Economy” on Circuits and Zonal levels in the Municipality on 15th and 29th August, 2023 respectively. Contingents for the circuit festival were drawn from nine circuits in the Municipality.
Bekwai Municipal hosted five other Districts (Bosomte, Amansie West and South, Atwima Kwawoma and Adansi North) for the zonal festival. Contingents who performed remarkably were selected from the participating district to represent the zone at the super zonal level.
