As Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, it is our core mandate to see to it that the living standards of people in the Municipalities are well improved and developed through Sensitization and Education. Streetism was one of the programs chosen to sensitize and educate the people of Bogyawe community through Information Centres on Wednesday, 31st May, 2023.

The Municipal Assembly is the highest political and administrative body of the Municipal and exercises deliberative, legislative and executive functions. The Municipality was established under Legislative Instrument (L.I. 1906, 2007).
