The Director of Pharmaceutical Services at the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC), Dr George Asumadu Amoateng on Monday, 20th March, 2023 donated medical supplies valued at Gh¢ 15,000 to the Bekwai Municipal Hospital.
At the short gathering attended by the MP for Bekwai Constituency, Hon. Joseph Osei Owusu and his entourage, Dr Amoateng stated that this donation was part of his plans to help health facilities improve their quality of service to their patients.
The President of Ghana Medical Association who doubles as the Medical Superintendent of Bekwai Municipal Hospital, Dr. Frank Serebour receiving the items on behalf of the hospital, promised to make a good use of the items. He indicated that, the donation was timely as the facility wanted to provide better services to patients.
He finally called on all persons to support the hospital by emulating this kind gesture.
