BEKWAI MUNICIPAL ASSEMBLY INTENSIFIES EFFORTS AGAINST CHILD NEGLECT AND ABANDONMENT

In a concerted effort to address the pressing issue of child neglect and abandonment within the Bekwai Municipality, the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development (SWCD) organized an educational session on Tuesday, August 15th, 2023, at Kokotro. Led by seasoned officers of the SWCD, namely Emmanuel Adusei, Evans Owusu Addai, Elizabeth Afia Pokua, Emmanuel Agyare, and Ruth Adutwumwaah, the session aimed to raise awareness and provide guidance on combating these societal challenges.
