The Bekwai Branch of Amansie Rural Bank PLC has donated assorted items to the Bekwai Municipal Assembly (BMA) in support of this year’s farmers’ day celebration at Ahwiren in the Bekwai Municipality.
The items handed over at a short ceremony included 30 Knapsack Sprayers, 30 Cutlasses and 30 Willinteng Boots.
Evelyn Asare Andoh, Head of Command at the Bank said that the gesture was part of their corporate social responsibility.
She added that the bank was proud to be associated with the effort at celebrating the hardworking farmer for their immense contribution to socio-economic development of the nation.
She said the Bank apart from providing excellent financial services to its customers would continue to give back to society.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Kwaku Kyei Baffour who received the items on behalf of Bekwai Municipal Assembly thanked the bank for the gesture.
He called on other corporate bodies to emulate same.
